This course is for students or professionals in the banking and/or finance sector.
It's a condensed, efficient course, focusing on vocabulary - the specialist terminology needed to do business internationally in finance.
Course content:
1 month connection to one module (approximately 20 hours to complete)
5 hours of 1-to-1 videocall training with your specialist trainer
There are 3 modules to choose from:
- Financial Analysis English - for financial reporting, balance sheets, cashflow statements and mergers & acquisitions
- Alternative investment English - for hedge funds, private equity and LBOs, real estate and commodities
- Capital Markets English - for stocks & shares, bonds and dividends
Modules are interactive, multimedia material on our online platform. You'll have your specialist trainer on the platform to guide you, give you feedback, and correct your writing. The material includes external, authentic sources so your training is as relevant, interesting, and current as possible.
Each module takes around 20 hours to complete. You work at your own speed, whenever you want, wherever you are.
The videocalls with your specialist trainer are focused on practising speaking the vocabulary that you learn in the module. They are 1 to 1 videocall meetings. The scheduling is flexible, depending on your availability. When you finish your module, you receive your certificate. Which is a great addition to your CV, job applications, and to show off on social media.

The rooms are nice, coffee and bisciuts at breaktime. In the evening i did the online exercises with teacher Tom who gave me feedback and corections on my writing. I passed the ACA so i am very happy. Thank you to all at Capricorn.
This is nearly two years ago now, I moved to UK with my husband and I did not think I would get into job interviews this quickly. I did a 1 to 1 course to improve myself. After I did online classes with the same teacher Jo Mondays and Thursday and I carried this on for some months. Nevertheless I still have work to do on writing structure. Jo is not there anymore but she is a good teacher and Anna helping with the paperwork, thank you!
I did one week half day immersion in London on February. Good classes in morning and lunch with teacher James. After noon exercises are with on line teacher, I can do everywhere I visit London, have cafe and do videos and questions on internet. I liked this. 5 days is may be too much for me I learned very fast I was so tired at end of day. The weather is not good you know!
