코스 개요

This course is for students with a minimum B1 level. You will take our online placement test before you arrive and will be placed into the correct level for you, Our teachers will prepare a course designed specially for your class and English level using topics and materials relevant to your age group. You will practice all language skills with an emphasis on expressing your thoughts and ideas clearly in English. You will have a weekly progress test and return home with a personalised report at the end of your course.
Students have English Lessons on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Morning and on Monday and Wednesday Afternoon. They have an afternoon excursion on Tuesday and on Thursday afternoon cultural and sports activities are organised. On Friday students have free time for shopping in Exeter city centre. They have three organised evening activities each week and a full-day excursion on Saturday.

You will find our school in the beautiful area of St Leonards' which is very close to the city centre of Exeter. We have been based on our site since 1966. Exeter is a small city in the southwest of England and close to beautiful beaches and countryside which our students enjoy on their excursions. The Isca School of English is the longest-running school in Exeter and one of Devon's language schools

Homestays are carefully selected by Sarah Tomlinson who visits them regularly. We take up an enhanced DBS ( Police Check) on all members of the family over the age of 16 and confidential references are also taken up so that we know our homes are taking in students for the right reasons.
Our students share a room with another Isca student of a different nationality to them ( same gender and similar age). We find this makes it easier for students to learn as much English as possible with the homestay and with the other student. You must tell us if you have more than one mother tongue as we guarantee you will not be in a homestay with another student of the same mother tongue. If you do not tell us, we will have to move you.
This is a full board accommodation ( with packed lunch from Monday to Saturday and on the final Sunday when they depart)
