Genki Japanese and Culture School (GenkiJACS) is an internationally acclaimed communicational Japanese language school that offers long-term study abroad courses, learning the Japanese language and culture in a relaxed and friendly environment. We are located in the heart of Nagoya City, the 4th biggest city in Japan.
GenkiJACS was nominated by popular vote as one of the world's top language schools every year from 2009 to 2021, winning the award in 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020! We are one of only two Japanese language schools in the world that are accredited by IALC, the International Association of Language Centres.
We offer courses the smallest student visa accredited classes with a maximum of 8 students per class.
For students coming from overseas to study abroad at our language school, we can prepare a range of accommodation options including homestays and dorms and arrange various activities for the duration of your stay. We're here to make learning Japanese worthwhile and enjoyable - that's why students return to GenkiJACS again and again!
All of GenkiJACS' teachers are graduates of a 420-hour Japanese teacher training course at a recognized study institution. We hire only the best and perform regular training. Students agree: you won’t find better teachers!
For holidays, GenkiJACS either arranges an alternate event for students for the day it is closed, or refunds tuition for that day.
Nagoya JaLS is located in Nagoya, the old capital of Japan, and specializes in short term Japanese language study. We are part of the JaLS GROUP which has won numerous awards since its establishment in 2012, combining professional Japanese tuition and our belief that each student should have the most valuable experience possible whilst studying in Japan. We use intensive and practical language study alongside a variety of activities and cultural experiences to welcome and support all our students in a warm and family-like atmosphere. It is our desire that all students feel at-home in Japan, are able to return to study in the future, and have a wonderful and deep experience of Japanese culture.

수업은 소규모로 진행되었습니다. 첫 주에는 학생 수가 4명이었고, 둘째 주에는 6명이었습니다. 수업은 활기차고, 소규모 수업 덕분에 말할 기회가 많았습니다. 저처럼 집에서 혼자 일본어를 공부했던 저에게는 수업 시간에 말하는 데 익숙해지는 데 큰 도움이 되었습니다. 교과서 커리큘럼은 논리적이었고, 매일 주어지는 숙제는 매일 아침 수업을 더욱 탄탄하게 다지는 데 매우 유용했습니다.

수업 방식은 언어 학습에 정말 도움이 되었습니다. 위치는 역 바로 앞에 있어서 편리했습니다. 하지만 시설은 매우 낡고 오래되었습니다. 나고야에 GENKI JACS가 생긴 지 1년밖에 안 돼서 교실과 시스템이 아직 제대로 갖춰지지 않았습니다. 깨끗한 환경을 원하신다면 미리 학교에 연락해서 기대치를 정해두시는 게 좋을 것 같습니다. more
