Culturforum, Italian Language and Culture school, is located in Palermo, in an ancient building, a stone’s throw from the central Piazza Marina, and a short walk from the most important monuments, museums and attractions.

Sicily's capital town is a lively city full of style, culture and charm. The millennia-long history of Palermo is attested by its extremely rich and varied artistic and architectural heritage: Punic walls, remains of Roman villas, delightful Arabic dwellings, stunning Norman churches, sumptuous baroque squares, churches, and palazzi, neoclassical theatres and lovely Art Nouveau villas.

The streets of Palermo town centre, reborn to new life after recent restorations, are pulsating with life at any time of day or night. Here you can experience the voices, the colours, the smells, the flavours and friendliness of a city where, with its undeniable controversial sides, north and south meet and that offers a warm Mediterranean atmosphere permeated by oriental charm.

"Friendly, only six students per class: plenty of grammar lessons."

plenty of grammar lessons and conversazione: I liked that we had two different teachers but it was a shame that one of the teachers obviously preferred the interaction with the one young man... to the detriment of the other 5 students.

I did not see let alone speak with the owner of the school at all. we only had interaction with our two teachers.

"Serious learing in friendly environment."

It was always clear where and when to meet. The course itself was very well adopted on the requirements of the class. We had a lot of fun, we learned about the culture of Palermo. Everyday I became more curious to spent more of my free time in the city. I finished the week happy, sattisfied and with a nice certificate.

"Small but good"

actually (march 2022) the school is very small (only two classes with 2 resp. 4 students). this can be an average (familiar and individual courses) and desaverage in relation to social activities etc. I liked the ambiance.
