The Honddu River is slow moving and shallow - three feet at the deepest - and about twenty feet from bank to bank. One can have breakfast on the riverbank while overlooking the water and it is normal to see kingfishers fly close- by. Rooms appointed are primarily for language-learners staying for a language-immersion experience.
